Took my F350 here for a steering problem. They diagnosed and replaced "bad tie rod end, steering stabilizer and drag link" and then informed me that it didn't fix the issue and they would need to replace the steering gear box which would be another ~$1,400 after already being near $1,000 for the initial incorrect repair. I declined and took it to another mechanic who fixed the problem by replacing a bad u-joint. Eric, I'd be happy to come in and show you the bad part and the invoice. Don't diminish the review with more improper diagnostics from afar.
We're sorry about this Wes. During our initial test drive we noticed how loose the steering was due to the tie rod and drag link which is very common on this truck and needed replaced. A u-joint would not fix the issue that you had but an axle joint very well could have. So I think that's what you had replaced. We are very sorry about this Wes. Have a good day. Eric
