Mansfield Auto Repair

DO NOT USE Prosser's!!! I was appalled by the service and especially the customer service by Prosser's. When we picked up our motorhome the front end began smoking and smelling about 2 miles down the road. We immediately turned around and by the time we got back there the new rotors they replaced tested at 300 degrees! They said we need Calipers (but they wouldn't replace the rotors- Scott argued that those rotors would be just fine). After leaving this time the steering wheel vibrated- this is after $1,500. Instead of addressing the issue they wanted to take the driveshaft out and replace u-joints. I was on the phone with Scott and told him we wanted to find out why the steering wheel was vibrating because it wasn't when we brought it in here- Scott then hung up on me. I was shocked, I called back but a woman answered. I told her I was just talking to Scott and I think he hung up on me. She said he was with another customer. I told her I would wait, she then said she would have the owner (Eric) call me. I said, "Oh, so he did hang up on me?" All she would say is she would have the Owner call me. Well Eric never called me either. When I called him he just said they have phone calls drop all the time instead of apologizing. I found out from a co-worker that he had the same experience. Prosser's wanted to keep fixing other things instead of the issue, and he was hung up on too. This was my first and last experience and I will tell everyone I know so they don't get taken.

I HAVE RECEIVED OIL CHANGES AND TIRES FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT AND HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED. THEY HAVE BEEN VERY FRIENDLY AND DIDN'T TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME BEING A FEMALE. I HAD GONE SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR TIRES, AND THEY SAID I NEEDED OVER $1500 OF OTHER WORK DONE. WHEN I TOOK IT TO PROSSER'S THEY SAID I DIDN'T NEED ANY OF IT DONE. THE SHOP IS EXTREMELY CLEAN AND THE WAITING ROOM IS MARVELOUS WITH A COMFY COUCH, TV, AND LARGE FISH TANK IN THE WALL. THEY DEFINITELY HAVE MY BUSINESS.

Had a head gasket on a newer auto repaired. They are very professional and do a thorough job. Thank you prossers.

Very good about getting you in at your scheduled time. Service is is done quickly and correctly. No high pressure sales pitch to purchase additional services or products. They didn’t mount my tires backwards like Pep Boys did and you don’t wait for hours like you do at Sears

My husband and I were traveling through the area and realized we had a bad tire. We needed help and they squeezed us in and put our spare on until we could get a new tire. We were very thankful for their help. Very nice staff and and a clean comfortable waiting area for customers while they worked.

Traveling through the Mansfield, OH area today and had an issue with a tire. Stopped here and was taken care of like family! Very professional and courteous staff! I highly recommend them for your auto repairs if you live in the area!

My son was having a problem with his brakes and Prossers was able to get his car in quickly for an inspection and then the work done same day! I felt like they took great care of a teenaged boy paying for the expense out of his own pocket, went over everything with him and charged fairly. I appreciate the courtesy, great communication and quick turn around!!! Thanks so much! We would return and recommend to others!
