Very disappointed my husband broke his Meyer plow and took it in for an estimate. They called told him how much the estimate was and my husband said no thank you that was more than we wanted to spend fixing it, and that he would be back in to pick up his blade the following day. Got there to pick up the blade and was charged $98 for an "estimate" and the blade was in pieces. If you really need to tear something apart to give an estimate and need to charge for it, you should first call the customer and ok the charge with them!
I'm very sorry that was the story you got Heather. Your husband dropped off his plow blade because he broke a pivot pin and at drop off he was told that the blade would have to be disassembled in order to verify if it would need pivot tubes or not. There is no way to know for sure with out doing so. He was told that would take an hour. When he walked in to pick up his blade the first thing he said was what do I owe and can you price me a new blade. He was aware of the estimate price and that the blade couldn't be reassembled. I called him after this review and went over this story with him and he agreed with me. He said you were on your way home and he would talk to you about removing this review. Sorry again you received the wrong information.
